Fox Meadow Farm is a horse boarding and training facility in the heart of beautiful Chester County. Founded by Gail O'Neill over 30 years ago, the farm offers many services for both horse and rider. Gail is now proudly partenered with her daughter Emily.
Training
We offer individualized training board packages depending on the horse and rider's needs. Typically, this includes daily grooming, sessions in which we ride your horse or you take a lesson on him and opportunities to show or have him shown by us.
Lessons
We have horses for every level of rider. Whether you are looking for a safe pony for your child, a quiet horse to jump or hack, or a wonderful dressage schoolmaster to further your skills, we have just the horse or pony for you. We also have in house lease packages available on certain horses.
Camp
Our summer camp is offered to kids enrolled in our riding program. In addition to daily lessons, campers learn all about horse care and barn chores, play games on horse back and cool off by swimming in the afternoons.
Board
We pride ourselves on running a neat and organized barn in which each horse is cared for as if they were our own. Centered in the heart of Chester County horse country, The farm sits in thirty acres of beautiful farm land owned and preserved by the Natural Lands Trust.
Fox Meadow Farm was my second home throughout my teenage years. Gail O'Neill taught me far more than just how to care for horses and ride them, she taught me about life. As my mentor for so many years she helped me forge a strong path into adulthood - as an equine professional and as a well rounded person. I am so grateful.

Past working student, now
Dressage Trainer at KD Dressage
Emily O'Neill's expertise and tenacity characterize both her riding and her teaching. She was hugely helpful to me and never became inpatient or frustrated despite the time it took me figure out how to ride a particularly difficult horse.

Dressage student
Fox Meadow Farm is a great place for young riders. I really appreciate Gail's focus on safety, responsibility, and respect for the animals. My daughter is learning important life skills while making new friends, improving her riding, and having fun.

Mother of young riding student
I've been riding at Fox Meadow for 6 years. The quality of the horses and instruction is top notch. Where else can you learn upper level dressage movements on a sound, safe, very fancy horse! I even had the honor of taking him to a show! Gail and Emily have totally changed my riding...for the better. Every lesson is focused on riding correctly and the horses are so well educated that if you do it right, they do it right!!! It is also the most fun, welcoming barn for everyone..beginners, upper level riders, kids and adults all interact with absolutely NO drama.I am so looking forward to the 2016 season with my mare and Emily's expert coaching. No words to thank you both enough.

Emily O'Neill has been riding our horse, Baily, for two months now, and the transformation is amazing. He is more responsive and forward going. He has started to develop a proper top line and is loving his work. She is an excellent, gentle but firm rider. Baily is not always an easy horse and Emily has bought out the best in him. It is a joy to watch her ride him.

Training boarder, student and mother
I came to Fox Meadow Farm in 2001 after taking lessons at several other facilities. My major goal was to be able to trail ride. 15 years later I own three horses, ride the trails on my own, jump on occasion and have competed all of my horses in dressage shows. The FEI level mother daughter team of Gail and Emily O'Neill provide excellent horse care, upper level dressage horses for lessons and excellent training. A small combined riding facility for jumping, dressage and trails, Fox Meadow Farm is the best!!

Training boarder and student
Fox Meadow Farm has become my second home over the years and everybody is family there. As a working student Gail O'Neill has taught me variety of learning experiences from managing a barn to teaching beginner lessons. It is wonderful having a place where I can board my horse and not have to worry about him.
-Emily Lord
Working Student
Fox Meadow Farm is more than a place to learn to ride. It's a community. Gail and Emily O'Neill live and breathe horses. They are both knowledgable instructors who care deeply about all aspects of riding and of horses.
